Book Review: Wildcard
What a great story! I had read Marie Lu's Legend series and loved it. Now that I finished Warcross with the second book, Wildcard , I have a new favorite. I just love her characters. The plot for this story was so well crafted. I confess I did guess the "twist" in the first and second book, but I didn't see the ending coming. It was so much fun to read this book. The love story is important, and yet not the focus of the book. There's something about Marie Lu's couples that makes them special. They just make sense and the relationship between the two main characters is essential to the story. The idea of the internet and virtual reality were well done, too. Not like Ready Player Two. I thought in Warcross , the ending actually made sense (sorry, not a fan of RP2, LOL) I truly recommend this series. It was just two books, but that was enough for me.
