Audio Book Review: Born a Crime

I got recommendations to read this book from two good friends and I just had to get it. I listened to the audiobook during my commute. I like it when the author himself reads their book, especially when they are public figures. It was an interesting tale of a life in a place I don't really know myself. It is a dangerous world filled with ignorance, racism, and discrimination.

There are a lot of lessons in this book. I personally don't have a stomach for unfairness and unjust events, especially when they are real. In the world we live in and the news all around us, I felt Trevor Noah is still an optimist even under the events that happened in his life. We truly are how we decide to look at the world.

I recommend his book. There is a lot to learn from it.
