Book Review: Children of Virtue and Vengeance

  I'm not sure what to say about this book. I guess I'll start by saying how well written it is. The language, the plot. It's well crafted. I appreciate that, for sure. Book one ended in a cliffhanger, and the second book starts right after one ends.  But everything that happens is bad. Sad. And then some more bad happens. All of the main characters are always arguing and bickering with each other. They all want the same things, and they are all good, but they don't listen to each other and they make everything worse because they're vain or proud or whatever. That made for a very depressing and frustrating read. Not that it was a good book, it was just that I felt helpless reading it. It came to a point when I wasn't enjoying it anymore. I couldn't. Perhaps it was my mood. Because it's what's happening around in the world, but nothing good happened in this book. Videogame Review: Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

I was unsure at first about Tomb Raider. When I was younger, I played the first Tomb Raider and I remember I didn't like it all that much. I was alone, it seems since the videogame was wildly popular. So much they made movies about it with Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. When I finished Horizon Zero Dawn, I needed something else to play. My husband convinced me to try Tomb Raider. And so, I started with the first one available for the PS4: Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. It took me a while to get used to it. I started it and realized it was a bit too stressful for me. I didn't play for a few weekends because I was afraid of getting stressed out like I had the first two times I played it. But alas, I went back and after a few more hours of gameplay, I became addicted. I started to understand what else I could do apart from just shooting bad guys. I began to use all weapons in my arsenal, and not just the bow (my favorite). Not only that, playing it was like watching ...
