Videogame Review: Rise of the Tomb Raider

I am a new Tomb Raider fan. I was never fond of the original, but these three updated videogames are amazing! I will gladly give my money to this team of developers anytime.

If I enjoyed the first Tomb Raider, I enjoyed this one even more. I played it with the DLC integrated from the start and I never looked back. The graphics and sequences are a work of art. It's like watching an action movie, but you're the star. I didn't find every single thing that was there to find, but I had lots of fun throughout: in the main story, side quests, and finding hidden things all over.

I do think that it helped that I played the games in order, because it almost felt like they assume you know how to handle the controls when you start the sequel. Which was just fine by me. I only wonder how Lara didn't freeze to death all the times she got wet in her little outfit and then came out to the cold, snowy weather. It's a game, I know... but I worried.

You can't miss these games. They get better and better. Up next, Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Cheers!
