Book Review: Crossed (Matched #2)
The dystopian society is still interesting, as is the idea of the rebellion. And the question of whether having a society that dictates your life in exchange for peace and a life without sickness is appealing. But at the same time taking away your free will is unnerving. While, if the resistance wins, then they go back to chaos, which is what created the downfall of our society.
It is this conundrum which keeps me interested enough to continue.
The love triangle also grabs me. For the first time I don't know who of the two boys who love our protagonist to choose, and I fear that, for the first time, she will choose my least favorite.
All in all the story was a bit slow and without much happening, but engaging enough to keep me going. I hope the conclusion is worth it.
Cheers!
