Book Review: The Remains of the Day

I heard an interview with the author on NPR, learning he just released a book and that he had once won the Nobel prize for literature.

I remembered watching the movie with Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson ages ago. I remember it was slow, but that I hadn’t been able to stop watching. I, of course, saw the actors as I read the novel.

It was a different way of writing, but I still enjoyed it, especially every single piece of dialogue between the two main characters.

Now I want to watch the movie again.

Overall, a good, enjoyable book.

Cheers!
