Book Review: The Hating Game

What a fun book! Can't wait to see the movie adaptation.

After reading Marissa Meyer's Cursed, I needed something light and fun, and The Hating Game by Sally Thorne was just what I needed. It was a wholesome story, with great characters and dialogue. The story was super predictable, but that was an asset, since that was what I needed. So I loved it.

My only complaint was the long and detailed "sex" scenes. Although *spoiler alert* they only have sex once and behind the scenes, they do a lot of explicit foreplay that lasts for pages and pages. At first it was okay, but I skipped a few of it at the end because it was just too much.

Apart from that, this was a great book. So much fun, and so wholesome. I just fell in love with Joshua Templeman.

Cheers!
