Book Review: Fairy Tale
Golly! It took me two months to finish this book. I usually enjoy books by Stephen King, but this one was the exception. The story is split in two. The first part of the book was amazing. Great character development and build up to something that was coming that promised to be wonderful. Unfortunately, it wasn't so. Once the "fantasy" part started, I couldn't seem to read more than two or three pages without falling asleep. I understood how King loves his Dark Tower idea of "There are more worlds than this", but the way he shifts his language use and writing style when he is writing characters and stories in that world, just isn't for me. I swear next time I have trouble falling asleep, I'll take out my Kindle and read a couple of pages of Fairy Tale . Sounds horrible, I know. The fantasy world just wasn't interesting, and the too many character introductions made it confusing. Also, he didn't get me to care about any of the characters. The ...
