Thoughts: The New Year is Here
My blog has gone through a big update.
One of my new year's resolutions is to separate my author life, from my teacherpreneur life, and my personal life. My goal is to NOT promote my books or teacher store in this blog anymore.
I AM going to be writing about my life, and since being an independent author and teacherpreneur are a part of my life, I will mention them. But you will not see names of books or resources. There will not be a link taking you to them.
What there will be plenty will be reviews of books I read and video games I play. Mostly this blog will be about that. 😏
Now, the first thing I did (between yesterday and this morning), was to delete anything that had to do with my books and my teacher store. Bam! Gone!
The next thing I did, which took about an hour, was update the labels and the look of my blog.
I want it to be relaxed and easy to read.
If I am not succeeding, please let me know.
Finally, I updated the title of my blog. It is now An Overwhelmed Creative, because that's what I am.
I have a full time job as a bilingual kinder teacher, I write and publish books, I have a teacher store with 500+ resources and I must keep up with all the marketing for them.
I will try to continue the teacher blog and start the author blog, but I made no promises. That is not a part of my new year's resolution LOL.
Now, this year, I will be taking on a new project. A big project. One that may change my life forever if it works. This will only make me more overwhelmed, as you can imagine.
Also, if this project works, I will be dedicating less time to my teacher business. Slowly, but it will happen. Although I doubt completely, because I really enjoy making resources. It's fun and useful. Only time will tell, I guess.
Well, that's all I have to say for now. I hope you all have a great 2024! Mine is going to be very interesting, for sure.
Cheers!
