Video Game Review: Assassin's Creed Origins
I really enjoyed this game. The only thing I didn't do was complete the Giza pyramid because I didn't have enough resources and I didn't want to go look for more.
The game has a similar feel as The Witcher 3 or Skyrim for me. I like games where you have to use your sword. This was great for me. I liked going from quest to quest gaining experience, too. The map is big, but not gigantic, and it has the question marks to help you know there's a location or a camp with bad guys there.
The story was a little sad, especially because I'm a mom. I don't know what I'd do if that happened to me. I understand that's what the writers decided was needed to get the main character to go on his vengeance rampage. The title says it all, you play as an assassin, and you kill a lot of people. Not monsters, not robots, but people. Some times, it gruesome ways.
I still enjoyed the gameplay so much I started Odyssey right away.
Origins is a good restart to this series. I'm glad I found it, even if it was years after its release.
Cheers!
