Book Review: Crossed (Matched #2)

Image
Crossed  is the second book in the Matched series by Ally Condie. I enjoyed the first book enough to continue with this series. I was a bit disappointed by the plot and flow of the second chapter. The story is a bit slow and not much happens. Also, there are parts where what is described seems either impossible or not following the rules  the author described in the first book. I'm just not a fan of the ship part.  I admit the ship has certain uses. It has a chest to keep part of your loot if you want, and it serves as a teleporting point. You can also call the ship from the ports around the world. Once you visit all the islands, then you don't really need the ship for much—except for completing a few quests on water. The islands are like small worlds in themselves. It took me quite a while to complete most of the islands. Then t...
